How many people are aware that Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is just that…..a THEORY (a speculative or conjectural view or idea – Collins English Dictionary)?

This theory has been taught as fact in schools for decades, along with the big bang theory which tries to explain how our world came into being.  Despite no concrete proof, these theories are generally accepted as fact, whereas the account of creation as detailed in the Bible (for which there is far more detailed evidence) is considered merely a fairy tale.

Not only does the Bible outline our beginnings, it also teaches that an evil entity came into our world which seeks to destroy us.  For this reason, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to teach us how we can avoid destruction.  Before Jesus came there were laws in place to protect us, but people – the ‘holy’ people in particular – had perverted these laws and made them almost impossible to keep.  These laws were the Ten Commandments.

When Jesus came, He explained how these commandments were meant to be kept.  This really annoyed the holy men at the time, so much so that they insisted on Him being crucified eventually.

Jesus never said we HAVE to keep the Ten Commandments, but that if we love Him, we will want to keep them for His sake.  (He also said that if we fail to keep just one of them, then we might as well forget the other nine)

According to the Bible, the evil entity which came and is reigning in this world is the devil.  He’s known by many names: satan (which means ‘adversary’), Lucifer, the snake, the dragon and more recently he’s referred to as the One (with a capital ‘O’). 

The Bible also teaches us that all wrongdoings (sins) have to be paid for by death – there had to be a punishment in place in order that mankind could live together in harmony.  Throughout life we learn this concept - step on a nail and you’ll get hurt, touch a live wire and you’ll get a shock, etc.  There are always consequences for our actions, although many people today refuse to accept that basic principal and want to do whatever they want, regardless of the suffering they might cause to themselves, or indeed others who might be affected by their selfishness.

Humanists and atheists believe the doctrine that this life is all there is and it’s to be enjoyed, no matter what.  This doctrine removes guilt from people’s lives, which is why most perpetrators of crimes against humanity hold these beliefs. 

In the American Declaration of Independence, the traditional philosophy teaches that Man, The Individual, is endowed at birth with rights which are unalienable because given by his Creator.  The meaning of the word ‘unalienable’ signifies that Man has no power to alienate - to dispose of, by surrender, barter or gift--his God-given rights.

Since Jesus came and died on our behalf (the Bible teaches us that all sin has to be paid for by death, hence our sins are washed in the blood of Jesus), satan knows his time on earth is short because when Jesus was resurrected (brought back to life again), He said that He will return to gather up His people who believe in and love Him at the last day, ie the end of the world.
