There are powerful people who control things behind the scenes today and the last thing they want people to do is read the Bible.

Reading the Bible has always been a contentious point where Rome is concerned. The Catholics did not want the ‘common people’ reading the word of God in their own language and had many good men put to death in the most horrendous ways to stop this happening. Considering the lack of interest in the Bible and its teachings currently, it could be argued that despite the incredible work done by the Reformers, Rome has gained considerable victory in recent times.

Why is it so important to someone that the Bible isn’t read? Could it be because it details the future of mankind and what people can do to resist the fate the devil has planned for us?

New Bible versions printed after the King James Version omit some verses altogether and subtly change other key texts in their supposed attempt to make the Bible more ’readable’, but these omissions and alterations do much to reveal their reason for hiding the word of God.

Where in the King James Version Jesus is referred to as the Son of God, in contemporary Bibles, He is reduced to a mere servant of the Lord. Where mention of Jesus’ family is made, instead of saying His mother Mary and Joseph, the newer versions state His mother and father, Mary and Joseph. God is Jesus' father, NOT Joseph.

These changes might appear as minor to the casual reader, but the implications behind them are extremely serious. They do much to diminish the sovereignty of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and in view of the frequency of the changes and their similarity, it can only be a deliberate attempt to subvert the true meaning of the Gospel.

 

Please take note:

JESUS Himself will return at the end, and nobody but Jesus.  Not someone like Jesus or a representative of Him, it will be the same Jesus who came before. 

Forty days after the resurrection of Jesus, during which He showed Himself to be alive by many INFALLIBLE proofs.....

And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud(of angels)received Him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel (this signifies that these men were angels);

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?  this SAME Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.

Jesus will return in the same way He left—with clouds of angels—and when He returns it won’t be a silent, secret affair.....

EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM

For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (1 Thessalonians 4:16)

 

But Jesus warned:

Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:  see that ye be not troubled:  for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:  and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows. 

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:  and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise and deceive many.

and because iniquite shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;p and then shall the end come.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  (the very elect are Christians, believers)

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth:  behold, He is in the secret chambers;  believe it not. (Matthew 24:26 )

But Jesus tells us not to worry: 

Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)
